Answers:
you need a gram of protein per lb of bodyweight so basically you need atleast 195grams of it per day!.

some extreme bodybuilders take more than 1!.5grams per lb of bodyweight however this shouldnt be neccesary for you!.

if your working out twice a week you dont need as much protein as that if i were you i would aim for 80 grams a day as you shouldnt have that much muscle tissue to heal!. protein only helps your muscles heal and wont make you huge, however if you dont have enough protein your muscles wont grow to their full potential when they rebuild!.

dont tell me im incorrect nathaniel, judging by your avatar your fat and just one of those guys that thinks fat helps with building muscle, this guy wants to lose bodyfat not put it on if you had read his quesiton or fully understood you wouldnt be telling him to eat carbs, im sure he doesnt wanna be like you, paint yourself green in your avatar it still doesnt make your man boobs look like muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every other day you need to cycle your fat/carbohydrates!. and continue with the protein!. The first day, eat as normal, try to get between 200 and 400 grams of protein!. The second day eat NO carbohydrates and only fats and protein!. This will cause your body to skip the process of burning carbohydrates and go right into using fat as energy!. When the fat in your diet is used up, the fat in your body will be burned off!. It is also important to know that you want to eat low glycemic index carbohydrates, such as whole grain breads!. You can search online for a list of good carbohydrates!.

There is also a supplement that should help called HMB!. it is only a metabolite of an amino acid -- somewhat like protein, but isolated like this it leads to fat loss and muscle gain in active adults!. 3-5 grams a day

hope this helps!

also, chris is incorrect!. You want 1-2 grams of protein per pound in your body in order to gain muscle while lifting!. 1 gram per pound if you want to maintain that muscle but have no goals of gaining!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
