What Kind Of Exercise "Machine" Works Good?!

Question: What Kind Of Exercise "Machine" Works Good!?
Hey i'm 13 years old and i'm trying to lose 30 pounds!. Over the summer i have been doing a lot of swimming and losing 1-2 pounds a week!.
When winter comes, i don't really have anything to do that will help me slim down, so i would like a exercise machine, but i need your help!.!.
I'm looking for a exercise machine that MUST have this:
1)NOT expensive
2)Doesn't take up to much room!.
3)Really works!. (Start seeing results in at least 2-3 weeks!.)
4)Burns a lot of calories and tells you how much you burned as well!.

So what kind of exercise machine is good for me!?
Thanks so much for your help!. [:

[P!.s, don't tell me to get something like a bike or a skipping rope, I want something that's made to use inside when it's snowing or raining!.!.]Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi there
this depends on what you want, you're losing 1-2 pounds from swimming and winter still a couple of months off so you should be near your target!.then to maintain you're weight you dont really need any machine just some room and do some say traditional exercises like push-up and get and stool or something and go up and down on it like a stairmaster thing and some crunchs these exercises work major muscle groups of course there are more squats lunges etc but if youre hell bent on getting a machine i would say
rowing maching
because works musles in legs and chest and back and you can pick a cheap but not wonderful but would do the job for you for $100-$200
orbital strider
these are good for cardio as are the rowing machine but as good as build muscle only really in the legs the hand bars dont really work anything you could pick up a decent one for about $300

i still reckon you could do better without a machine at all and do the trational excercise above and go try to do some team sports on all weater pitches or find a swimming pool that stays open during the winter pick up something like badminton thats indoor karate boxing loads of stuff to do during the winter!.(yeah i know i dont know where you come from and you might not be able to get access to any of these if not i'd go with the rower as a last resort)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try using a combination of stretching/strenghtening exercises that will strenghten your whole body and core!.(prefferably Pilates and yoga) Plus a forms of cardio, a treadmill, elliptical or a stationary bike will suffice, maybe even a kickboxing video or two !. And lastly, you need something to strenghten your upper body, try gradually doing pushups and pullups!. Don't forget you need a balanced diet too! try making small changes in your diet a!.k!.a!. whole wheat instead of white, skim milk instead of whole, water instead of coke!. Most importantly, DRINK 8 GLASSES OF WATER DAILY!Www@Answer-Health@Com
