Whey Protein Consumption!

Question: Whey Protein Consumption
Hey, when consuming whey protein, you're supposed to take a scoop I believe, correct me if I'm wrong!. How much exactly is a scoop though!? When I take a scoop I just fill a teaspoon with Whey protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
did you not get a scoop in the tub!? get a knife and dig around in the powder until you feel the scoop it normally get buried

1 scoop ussually meausres out 20g - 30g, and the scoops measure in CC (cubic centermetres) so only measure volume not weight, thats why it is important you have the scoop provided as different powders have different weights!.

and one heaped tea spoon is about 5 grams as i use a teaspoon to measure out my creatine and both powders weigh roughly the same so 5 tea spoons should be alright!.

IN REPLY TO YOUR ADDITIONAL INFO:
60g a scoop!? are you sure about that maybe you have a mass gainer and not whey protein, whey protein tends to go as high as 30g a serving whereas mass gainers are the big big servings, if its a mass gainer then 12 heaped teaspoons should be about 60g considering thats 5grams each teaspoon!.

also if it is a mass gainer consider buying some actual whey protein as mass gainer is packed full of carbs and calories and abit more protein than a regular protein shake, but on the whole its not worth it due to the amount of carbs it ocmes packed with unless your looking to get fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

!.!.!. a tea spoon is NOT even close to a scoop!.

Your container of whey should have a big scooper burried in there somewhere!. Just dig down a little and find it!.

I take usually 3-4 scoops!. I try to get around 150 grams of protein per day!. Usually around 75 grams from protein shakes!.

I take one right after I work out then one right before bed to gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well your container should come with a scooper!. If not look at the serving size in grams and find out how much grams are in a teaspoon!. A teaspoon is pretty little!. The average scooper looks like it could fill about 2-4 oz of water and like 30grams!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there should be a little plastic scoop buried in there somewhere!.!.!.i teaspoon isnt even close!.!.its more like 20-30 teaspoonsWww@Answer-Health@Com
