Is drinking too much water bad for you?!


Question: Is drinking too much water bad for you!?
I drink about three litres of water at home a day and about 1!.5 litres when at the gym!. I heard that drinking too much can be bad for you, I also don't drink anything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's maybe a bit extreme, but probably won't hurt you!. Too much water can be fatal!.

EDIT- People, you can DIE from too much water!. I doubt this guy is drinking too much, but yes you can DIE from drinking excess amounts of water!. The people who are answering, "No, it's good for you! Water can't be bad!" are ridiculous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

water isn't bad for you!. it's good that you drink water but like if you drink it constantly because your body is already made up of so much water it can be a bit bad!. when you go gym you sweat so your replacing the water so i think that amount of water is fine because aren't you supposed to drink 3 litres a day anyway!. :S when your at home replace say 1-2 of your drinks with juice or something!. try different drinks but waters fine!. hope this helps =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible to drink too much!. There have actually been people who have died from drinking excessive amounts of water!.

How much is too much!? That I'm not sure!. 4!.5 liters in a day does seem a little excessive (it is more than twice the suggested daily amount), but it may not be enough to be bad for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well u should drink some juices (not coke ect bcoz u sound healthy,it dont sound ur type)
but if ur old enough try wine with dinner not just plain water
water is never enough as long as u have a balanced diet and u SHOULD drink something else at times,for e!.g breakfast some freshly squeezed orange juice:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its not bad for you, just mite make you a little bloated thats all!.
But at the thy gym you will sweat out water you drink so its all good:) & most of your body is made up of water so you need to drink lots of it Www@Answer-Health@Com

There was this lady who did a water drinking contest to win something for her son and she ended up dying cuz she drank to much water!. So the moral of this true story is that too much of something is never good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you don't have to force down you should be ok!. Your need for water depends on your size, age, temperature, and activity you do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

too much water is not bad more you!. but you should probably cut back, it does seem like a lot!.!. which can result in frequent bathroom breaks, but as far as i know, that's the only negative effect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that is just OK, just dont drink more! A person was in this contest, somethink like "dont wee to win a wii" and she had to drink like loads of water and she died!. So yeah!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
