Push Ups... Wee problem!


Question: Push Ups!.!.!. Wee problem
Had just started a thing to build up from 10 push-ups to 40 in 8 weeks and I got busy!.!.!.for one week!.!.!. so I didn't keep to my program!.


And what this is all about is:

Before I stopped I could do 20 push ups max!.!.!.(2nd week in)
Now I've gone back to it I can only do 14 max!.!.!. How did one week do that to me!?
When I reach 40 how many push ups would I have to do, and how often would I have to do them to maintain 40 or should I just do 4 sets of max every other day to maintain it!.!.!.

I'm pretty new to the exercise thing!.!.!.

i reckon it depends on how you feel on the day as to how many you can do!. but one thing is for sure if you keep doing them you will be able to do more an more sooner or later when i was in training i could only do like 35 -40 max! that was for like months of training! i just couldnt crack 40 an i was doing em every day! but!.!.!. after i had a week or so off time to relax a bit and then came back to it i pumped out 58!?! go figure!.!.!.!.!.hope it helped ya;)Www@Answer-Health@Com
