I get tired easily. What can I do to improve?!

Question: I get tired easily!. What can I do to improve!?
I used to go to the gym like 3-4 times a week a few years ago, and although I never had anything close to a six pack, I felt good!. I haven't been able to shake off this excess fat around my belly for as long as I can remember!. Now things have gotten worse -- I'm in a very sedentary lifestyle, work at my desk and head back home!. Work consumes a lot of my time leaving little time for anything else!. Today I went for a run and got tired after just a mile or so!. How do I get my stamina back up!? How long will it take for me to regain my somewhat decent shape/stamina!? I'm in my early 30s, and I can see that I have put on about 5-10 lbs in the last year!. I feel absolutely horrible about it!. I used to look good in clothes, now I can see my gut growing!. I'm a guy btw!.

Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, first of all, give yourself a break!. It's hard to do all the things you're supposed to do when you work all the time and then come home tired!. Getting in shape and staying in shape is HARD work!

One of the reason that you're so tired is probably because you're not eating right!. That would be a good place for you to start!. The website below has a section called "Eat Healthy" that will help you make wise food choices!. Once you're getting the right amount of protein, veggies, fruits, dairy products, etc!., you'll have the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to function properly!. With only 5-10 pounds to lose, that would be the best kind of "diet" for you to go on, because it will help you learn how to eat for life! You can print out a weight loss journal page on the site to record your food intake, and that can be very motivating!.

Energy is one of those weird things in that the MORE we expend, the more we have in reserve!. Once you start living a more healthy lifestyle, you will have energy to spare!

Running a mile is nothing to be ashamed of!. You keep thinking what you used to be able to do which is holding you back from what you could be doing now!. Stick to that mile!. Add a block each time until it's two miles!. Repeat until you work your way up to where you want to be, or walk/jog for a certain amount of time!. It generally takes 2-3 months for a workout to show results! Print out an exercise log sheet from the site and write down all of your activity!. Again, it can be very motivating!.

Consider joining the gym again!. After working hard all day, it sounds like you could use the release!. Make it a social time by talking to people as you workout!. Start thinking of this time as your "play time" to make it more appealing!.

As soon as your feet hit the floor in the morning, do some pushups, crunches, and stretches!. That will only take 15 minutes and it will start your day off right and give you more energy right there!. It also affects your attitude because you're doing something to solve your problem!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your shape/stamina will not come back straight away because it needs building up again!. Just try jogging down the road or walking to work instead of driving!. You could try changing your diet to make it balanced and try to drink less alcohol!.

Try walking or bikingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go do something you really enjoy that's pretty physical!. Not only will it slowly get rid of that gut, but it will also help get things off your mind!. Go for a bike ride through town or something!.!.!. enjoy the scenery! Go get a MP3 player and listen to some music while your riding!. Enjoy yourself!. Subtract 500 Calories from your daily diet, that should help a lot!. And whenever you go to the desk, try getting rid of the chair, and just sort of stand there, unless you have to really bend over, cause that can hurt your back!. If you want to get more extreme, just squat at your desk, and feel the burn in your legs!!! Also, run every chance you get!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
