Weight to lose! answer please!!!!!?

how much weight could you lose in a period of 10 days by only eating 300 calories a day. ( wondering for a friend).

honestly, water weight, probably about 10 pounds......but not fat because your body will go into starvation mode and harbor all the fat that it can, and those 300 calories she (or he) takes in will get stored, not burnt.

I know this from experience. When she (or he) begins to eat again, they will gain it all back, and more on top of it.

Tell your friend that it is much more effective to do the following, and they will see better results:

eat 1000 calories a day, but of healthy foods, Fruits, vegetables, one serving of lean protein such as tuna or chicken, and 3 servings of fat free fruit yogurt.

in the morning, drink a glass of NATURAL (not from concentrate) grapefruit juice. Its a HIGHLY effective natural fat burner and kick starts the metabolism.

drink 2 liters of water (roughly .75 gallons).

dont eat 3 hours before bed. If you go to bed at 10, 7pm is the cutoff.

avoid all sugar, bread, pasta, cereal, potatoes and other refined grains.

and do some sort of mild cardio exercise (to get the heart rate between 120 and 130, no higher. about 20 to 30 minutes.

If she (or he) does all this, they will lose FAT, not just water and muscle, and it will be healthy. Probably about 3 pounds, but it wont come back.

hope she (or he) takes me seriously. I know from experience that doing what you mentioned will not work and will have adverse effects. I tried not eating anything for 2 days, and i actually GAINED 2 pounds. Yep. Its true. Now i am doing what i just told you and I have gone down a dress size in the last month.
