Confused about serving size!

Question: Confused about serving size
I bought protein powder mix from Meijer and I'm confused about the serving size!. It comes with a measuring thing that says it measures out 60cc/2oz but the serving size is 28g (which is 1oz or 30cc)!. It says it contains 16 servings and is 1ib!. of powder!. There are 16oz in one pound!. Also, there are 20g of protein per serving!.

Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you what a serving size IS in comparison to the measuring thing that comes with it!. There are directions for a smoothie, but it says to use 2 scoops! That would give you 80 grams of protein in one smoothie, if these conversions are right!.

It says no where on the container that you should only use half a scoop, and unless someone looked closely at the measuring thing, they would have no idea!. Am I missing something in the conversion!? Does it differ when you're talking about powder!?

It has 110 calories per serving so I really don't want to be consuming more than I should!. So is a serving half a scoop or one full scoop!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The scoop is a courtesy!. The FDA makes them put the actual calories and nutrition on the bag per serving!. Get yourself a 1oz scoop and use it for the most accurate measure!. I would stick with 1-2oz/smoothie, depending on your nutritional needs!. Also, you can always play with the amount of milk or other things you put in to it according to your tastes!. Remember, you can always add to a recipe, but you can't subtract!.

To sum up, a serving is half a scoop!. If you look at most food items they are packaged larger than a serving size, which is misleading to the consumer!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
