Question: How low does your bmi have to be to maybe cause death!?
This is a serious question- I want serious responses, people who are pretty sure of what they are saying!.

I think that the real death-oriented concerns can't really be classified by BMI!. What really threatens a person is the amount of malnourishment they've suffered!. How completely have their bones and muscle broken down!? If they lose substantial muscle (which is what kills most ED patients, other than starvation) their heart (which IS a muscle) can stop beating!.
This can happen to someone who is a BMI of 12 as easily as it can to someone at a BMI of 15!. It depends more upon what their bodily makeup is, and for that reason, is different from person to person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

anyway, my friend had a bmi of just under 12, (it was like 11!.8) and she is still alive!. she has eaten more now so it is like 15
i think 11!.8 is pretty low, and i have never heard of anyone below that
