Question: Chewing a pack of gum everyday! How to stop!?
I chew gum all the time!. I feel empty without gum in my mouth!. I go through a pack a day! Every time the gum looses flavor, I pop another in my mouth!. I feel to addicted to gum and really want to stop chewing it all the time!. I only want to chew it when I have bad breath instead of every second!. Any advice on how to stop!? Is it bad for me to chew it!? maybe knowing what it is doing to me will make me stop chewing it as often!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate chewing gum!. I mean, the little burst of flavour is a nice treat, but is down right bad for you!.
The constant bath of sugar and sugar like substances on your teeth, can't be good!. It promotes cavities!.
The continuouse chewing, tricks your stomach into producing stomach acids, thinking that food is coming down when its not!. So it makes your tummy hurt, and it makes you hungary!.
If its a fresh breath thing , go with altoids!. They are not so bad for you, and give intense freshness!.
Trying to stop anything like that is had!. Because it is an addiction!. Not in a classical sense, like drinking or smoking, or drugs!. But it is an addiction all the same!.
I have a chap stick addiction!. I know it sounds dumb, but its true I have to constantly apply it, and not in a cool sexy way, in like a painting it on , rubbing the goo all over my face way, so I have a grease mustache!. And its not my fault , I have really chapped lips, but thats its most likely my chap stick causing my chapt-ness!. When I did to try and stop was this!. On the hour, every hour, is the only time I would allow my self to apply my lip balm friend!.
Try that for your self!. Just to wean yourself off of the gum!. Only allow yourself one piece, every hour!. Soon make it one piece every two hours, and so on till its like one piece a week!. If its a mouth feels empty thing, you might want to try just chewing on a tooth pick!. Or something like that!.

This is not to scare you but I think your health is being affected by gum!. find out what gum is made of and you won't pop another one in your mouth!.

i dont think its nesisarily bad for you
maybe your jaw or your teeth
think of all the money your wasteing
the only thing i can think of is just dont buy it anymore or buy a flavor that lastes longer!.

It's an oral fixation and there's nothing wrong with it!.

Most people chew because of stress or discomfort or nerves!. It'd be best to try and address those first, and you'll naturally stop having the desire to chew so much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

last time i checked, chewing gum isnt addiciting, if you want a real challenge then try smoking and quitting that!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
