so i was the cross country captain at my school for the past 3 years & if your starting completely from the beg!. your gonna need about a month and a half!. so in the first week take everyother day off (run about 4 times a week) just take a jog thats about 1 mile long!. bring your ipod!. do whatever have fun!. after your run; take a cool down walk!. and then do about 15 minutes of abs!. (this is the most important) make sure to stay comfy while running you were cotton shorts that arent to long and to keep your hands up by your chest *this opens airways*also breathe in through your nose out through your mouth!. ok so each week increase about a mile!. so your next week your running 2 miles everyother day and doing 20 minutes of abs (you can do this while watching TV)!. in the third week!. do 2+ 1/2 miles but bring a watch and do intervals!.do 3 minutes jogging 1 minute sprinting the whole time!. (this will garuntee that you can control your speed during a race) *btw the races are 3!.1 miles long for highschool and 2 miles long for middle school* so anyway that week do 20 min!. abs!. the next week your doing 3 miles everyday just normal!. & 25 min abs!. the next week do intervals for about 4 miles everyday!. keep doing abs to! coming up on the season you should be comfortable running 5 miles fast!. so 3 miles will be EASY! thats the only way to be comfortable!. & remember it WILL hurt in the beg!. but thats the only way to get through it and keep going!. also "Pain in temporary, pride is forever!"
hope it works out,

I would see a doctor for professional tips so that you can lose as much weight as possible IN A SAFE AND HEALTHY WAY!

What I generally do to lose some weight:
-Eat 5, smaller meals throughout the day instead of 3 big meals!.
-Stop drinking any sugar drinks (pop, lemonade, etc!.)!.
-Drink lots of water (it helps suppress your appetite and increases your metabolism)!.
-Exercise! I'm not saying you need to go get a personal trainer, BowFlex, or LifeTime fitness membership!. When you get bored/hungry, go talk a walk/run!. Walking is great because it gives you time to think, increases your metabolism, and you don't have to change your clothes/shower when you do it!.

Those are all easy ways to lose some weight!. They don't cut into your life style to terribly but will definitely help you to lose weight!.

As for areas that have more fat than others, lifting is the only way to tighten up those areas!. Bench press will help you to tighten your chest while crunches and sit ups will help you tighten your stomach!.

Check out this website!. It reviews all the best weight loss programs, and has helped me to turn my life around, and actually start losing weight!.
