How many times should I do cardio..?!


Question: How many times should I do cardio!.!.!?
How many times a week should I do cardio, I have soccer on Tuesday and Friday nights - So thats not a day I would go to the YMCA (gym) I like the Cycle fit ( spin class/bicycle thing for those who don't know ) but how many times a week should I go do a Cardio workout (or) the Cycle fit to drop some pounds!? It depends what you're looking to achieve, if you're seeking weight loss then I would recommend lots of cardio at a low intensity but high volume!. Low intensity is the best way for fat burning, as above a certain intensity carbs are used primarily to provide energy opposed to fat!.

If you are looking to get fit as well for soccer then I recommend standard cardio e!.g!. a run 3 times a week, interval training once a week (HIIT) and 2 rest days!. Obviously given the current exercise, your spin class could cover one of the cardio sessions!. Your gym session is great cross training and will protect you from injury!

Cardio is something that you can do everyday!. Make sure that you throw in a different cardio exercise once or twice per week to keep the body guessing!.

Everyday is best, but if you can do it on most days of the week (5-6) that would suffice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
