How do i get my bf to start making healthier choices?!

Question: How do i get my bf to start making healthier choices!?
Ok my bf is 22, at least 140kg (even though he insists he is only 115kg) and 6ft tall!. I know he is not 115kg cos i am 96kg at the moment due to being 8 months pregnant and he is much bigger than me! He doesn't have the healthiest diet (hardly eats any fruit or veg)and doesn't do ANY excercise!. Even when i go for a short walk he won't come with me because he is too tired!.

He has said that he knows he needs to lose weight and he wants too- he just doesnt want to make any changes for this to happen!. I've tried making healthier meals but he wont eat the vegies!.

I'm out of ideas and running out of energy to keep encouraging him to try!. i'm even getting to the stage where i'm not physically attracted to him anymore!. But more than anything want him to be there later in life for our children!.

Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's all very well for people to say 'dont nag!' but the fact is your bf is quite overweight which means there are health risks involved and you're obviously concerned!. Being overweight can lead to high blood pressure, diabetes, and in severe cases it can cause a heart attack!.

I understand this must be difficult and awkward for you!. My thought is to sit him down and explain this to him!. Explain that you absolutely love and adore him, but you're concerned about his health and eating habits, and you hate seeing him unfit because it affects his quality of life and will later affect his ability to be the best father he can be if he continues on the road he's going!.

Be supportive of him and encouraging, and write down a list of meals that you (and him- he needs to get involved too!. It shouldn't be you doing all the work!) will make every night for dinner!. The best advice I can give you is to make eating a planned activity!. If all the food is prepared and ready to go he is less likely to go look for snacks!. An excellent cookbook is Cook Yourself Thin, which has the yummiest foods such as lasagne, chocolate cake, etc in it except *healthy* versions!. I strongly advise you get this book because we used it in my family and no-one could tell the difference, but they were eating 10 times healthier and were sneakily getting serves of fruits and vegies without knowing ;-)

Also make going for walks a time for both of you!. Say its important to you that he becomes involved!. Even a 20 minute walk per day (if you can manage due to your pregnancy!) If you can do it at 8 months, he can do it at 0 months lol!

Good luck and I hope some of this helps!. Just stay positive, lead by example, and encourage him, because weight can be a sensitive issue!. Just reassure him you love him, but want to see him healthier so you can lead a long and happy life together!.

If you continue to nag at him you will turn him away from you!. Either you love him or you don't!. Make up your mind and leave him alone!.

After you have your baby, get your own body back together and be a loving example!. Being an example means looking good yourself, NOT nagging him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From someone who is chubby, don't hassle him, or he will just dig his heals and not do anything out of spite!.
Why not just have healthy food at home, no junk so he can only eat healthy food!.

wait till he has a heartattack and then he will rethink his diet -!.^Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont nag him if hes like me hed dump you, im not being harsh just truthfull!. If you want him to lose weight then try to lose some yourself or do it together so he doesnt feel like hes missing out on good foods and stuffWww@Answer-Health@Com
