Question: Who can clear this up!? Protein!? Good or Bad!?
Is "too much" protein bad for you!? or it doesn't matter!? Can it make you extra fat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

All excess protein protein that you eat will be flushed thru you system!. Your kidneys are the primary player to get rid of the excess protein!. Look at what you are trying to acheive and guage your intake from there!.

The protein itself won't make you fat!. Depending on your source, that could help you put on fat!. If your source is from protein powders, these typically are low/no carb/ fat!. If you are getting from animal meat, then the fat frmo the animal meat can!.

Ideally your body does need protein but it is possible to have too much and again, it's something that often only you can decide by knowing your own body and discussing it perhaps with your Doctor or a dietitian what is the right amount for you!.

As has been said are you wanting to be generally healthy or are you a body builder!?

If you have too much protein it is possible to damage the kidneys!. I have a condition and have been told to continue having protein in my diet but was told to avoid eating "Big Thick Steaks" I never did but I wouldn't now!.

It can also depend what kind of source you take your protein from!.!.!.fish, chicken, turkey etc!.!.!.seem to be the most favoured!. Turkey is being marketed as a super food at present and as I was having a blood test the other week and mentioning food in passing the nurse mentioned Turkey as being especially good because it is so lean!.

Again, try and have a varied diet and add some fruit and vegetables into the mix!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's a time and place for protein!. You need a little with each meal, and it should be lean and healthy- not bacon! ha ha!.

Too much protien is bad for you, only take in a lot of protien if you are lifting weights!. I read in mens health that unused protien is very bad for your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i take in about 300-400 grams a day
and nothings happend to me
