Can Treadmills be sore on the joints?!

Question: Can Treadmills be sore on the joints!?
would a treadmill make the knees, etc!. very sore!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
To be honest, unless your knees are already pretty bad or you run WAY to much, it won't be that bad on your knees!. The treadmill does put more strain on your joints then the cross-country ski and elliptical machines but it wont make or break your joints!. Also try swimming for a low impact cardio workout, it also uses upperbody muscles so it's great full body cardioWww@Answer-Health@Com

No!. I have a knee problem and the treadmill is one of the only pieces of gym equipment I can use!. If I walk/jog on the roads the impact crushes me! You can also put a mat under the treadmill to help absorb the impact!. My doctor said treadmill and standard bicycle are best for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes!. running on pavement is worse for you, but running in general is not good for your knees and joints!.

if you want the same results as a treadmill without the joint and knee pain, try working out on an eliptical!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I guess if you had really bad joints!.
However because the surface is moving there is less strain than running on a road!.
You can also wear air cushioned trainers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sure they cause a lot of impact on your knees, try cutting down and adding a low impact exercise like swimming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try An Elleptical Machine!.
