Question: Do i really have to do situps to lose my gut!? or is there another way
i dont have a huge stomach but i do have a little bit of a gut and like 2 love handles !.
i jsut want my legs to slim but my stomach too!.

From other questions, your stomach, love handles, and legs have a little bit of extra fat!. To lose that fat, you have to exercise, and eat the right amount of food!.
With exercise, sit-ups aren't the main exercise!. They will make your stomach muscles stronger, so you will stand up more straight, but they aren't good for burning the flab!. That comes from more calorie-burning aerobic exercise!. Running, biking, or swimming burns a lot more calories!. If you really have to do weight training, then e-mail me, and I will send you my program, but just going for a walk or bike ride is much easier!.
But that exercise won't do any good unless you are eating well!. If you aren't eating enough, your body won't keep your muscles strong, and will conserve energy instead of burning it!. But that's not usually the problem!.
For most people, the extra flab comes from eating too much!. You are starting South Beach, which gives you a pretty good education in 'good foods and bad foods'!. But be careful in how much you eat, and in what amounts, particularly dairy, meats, and oil, where most of your calories will come from!. Using a food diary will help you keep track of how much you are really eating!.

Doing a lot of sit ups is not going to help you lose your gut!. Its only building muscle underneath it!. To lose your tummy you have to eat right and do some light resistance training along with some form of cardio!. Walking, swimming, cycling, running!. Keep doing your sit ups and as your fat melts away you will begin to see your abdomen muscles underneath =-) Good luck! Www@Answer-Health@Com
The best thing you can do for your thighs and legs are lunges!.

and for your stomach do a lot of ab exercises!.
Go for a jog or something every night!.

Jog! A mile a day 4-5 days a week should do it and to tone your stomach do maybe 50 sit ups a day!.
