I'm 15 and I really want to lose 25 pounds by october...any advice?!


Question: I'm 15 and I really want to lose 25 pounds by october!.!.!.any advice!?
I weigh 142 pounds and I'm only 5"1!. I've always struggled with my weight and ive been on numerous diets but I usually lose 10 pounds then gain 20 so I havnt had much success!. I need a plan!.!.!.some advice would be nice :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Diets aren't the trick - healthier habits are the way to take it off and keep it off!. On diets, we change our habits for a while, then feel deprived and when we say the diet is "over" we dive right back into our bad habits :(

The trick is making healthier decisions every day until they become your new habits - choose veggies over chips, and water over sodas for instance !.!.!. until it becomes second nature to reach for the water!.

I would start with a food journal - writing down everything you eat and drink for a week!. At the end of the week, review it and pick a bad habit or two and work on those for the next week, and keep picking bad habits to do away with and replace with good habits!. For me, the biggest thing was soda - and "re-programming" myself to reach for water!. However, after the first two weeks, it became really easy and soda even started to taste too sweet - water was what I WANTED not just something I SHOULD do!.

Always always always remember exercise - even something simple like walking or bike riding can make a HUGE difference in your weight loss!. By getting more active, we increase our metabolism so our body uses the food before it converts to stored fat!

Beware of the following bad diet habits that we fall in to: not eating, eating too little, not eating a balanced diet (cutting out all protein or eating nothing but protein) and not staying active!. These are common dieting mistakes that make it even harder to keep the weight off and stay healthy!.

One last thing - don't be shy about consulting your doctor about your weight loss goals!. Remember, they know your medical history and personal challenges and can typically help you tailor a plan to your lifestyle, body type, medical conditions, etc!.

i need a bit more info about what you eat generally At 15 you are still growing
Pasta,chicken,fish friut salad ,less suger,drinking juices/water insted of tea coffee exercise-swimming,walkings cycleing maybe this is something you can do with the friends/family!.
Would really like to help,but would need more info to be effective-what do you normally eat(daily/weekly) estimateWww@Answer-Health@Com

go on a walk for 30-40 minutes everyday, go swimming, grab a friend and work out on the beach
eat healthy, get atleast 5-10 servings of fruit/veggie in ur diet everyday
if you drink any type of soda or eat fast food alot cut down on thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

15-Loose 25lbs!. in 2-3 months!? Talk to a Doctor!.Please!!!
