Is it okay to replace cardio one day with 45 minutes of uphill/downhill brisk wa!

Question: Is it okay to replace cardio one day with 45 minutes of uphill/downhill brisk walking!?
I took the day off today for hardcore cardio!. I still did weight lifting, but instead of treadmilling as usual, I walked outside in the heat for 45 minutes, up/down steep hills!. I took a walk with my sister!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is crazy!. I don't know what makes you think you could ever do that!. You are going to become out of shape now!. Sorry, I just had to because, considering most people don't do anything, and you are actually walking outside (which is almost unheard of these days) I think that it is fine, as long as you are keeping hydrated and know your limits!. That is perfectly ok - and actually better for your body because it helps exercise other muscles that simply run on a treadmill won't!. Go ahead and replace your regular cardio with a walk like the one you described once or twice a week!. It'll help keep your exercise from getting too routine, thus working more muscle (while also allowing for the recovery of certain muscles) and keeping your body challenged and fit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Brisk walking is cardio! It's fine to do brisk walking outdoors instead of using the treadmill all the time!. Walking on hills is good for your calves!. If you're going to exercise outside regularly, it's a good idea to wear sunscreen, especially if you're outside between 10 and 4!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well cardio is more for TONING your body!. But it couldn't hurt!. You probably got more of a work out!. But cardio is more for gaining muscle and a firm body!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

That should be alright!. I would have recommended jogging a bit during the walk but it should be all good :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
