What causes my crazy weight gain/loss after training. What should I do about it?!

Question: What causes my crazy weight gain/loss after training!. What should I do about it!?
Why did I suddenly gain 5kg over night!?
I have recently started tack and field training again for the first time after the summer holidays!. We did a lot of exercises that strengthened the muscles and afterwards I was completely dead and aching!. We had training 3 times that week and the strange thing is that when I came home after the 3rd training I weighed 5kg more that a week before! And it is not fat - I have not eaten anything out of the ordinary and have been doing exercise all week!. My mother says it is just muslce but I don't think so because then when I weighed myself 2 days later I was suddenly 2kg less again!! This morning I had gained again after I had another training session!!.!.!.!.!. I don't understand anything!

Could it be water in the muscles or something, since I have not trained for a while!.!? What should I do - I feel so bloated and fat!

Thank you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your on to it! Sounds like theres water retention within your muscles which is very common with weight training and intense types of exercise!. I wouldn't take any notice of what your weight is doing until you have a good break from all your activity!. Sometimes is takes a few days for the weight to come back down!. Weigh yourself in the morning before breakfast and always the same time!. Only weigh yourself once a week at the most!.

It's not that fun looking at the scales and seeing that they're changing rapidly!.!.!.try your best not to take any notice of your weight though!.!.!.it sounds like your seriously doing plenty of work to get rid of body fat and I know what track and field is like being in my highschool short distance team for quite a few years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably because you ate a lot at dinner!. Since you go to bed at night, you should eat less, because the calories you gain after eating does not easily burn up since you go to bed at night!. And those calories turn into fat, which is why you gain weight!. It's strange though, that you gain weight after your training!. But you did say you haven't trained for a while!.
I suggest you take a walk after dinner and burn up those calories-that's what I do!.

Careful not to become to obsessed about weighing yourself!. It's possibility a mix of muscle and fluid and maybe your diet!. It might be a good idea to get your muscle mass / body fat checked from time to time- generally this can be done by a personal trainer, gym or chemist using a special set of scales!.

Time of day has a lot to do with it as well and of course time of month but diet can play a big part, when I train my clients they tend to eat more because they are working out more, make sure you are eating healthy foods which are low in saturated fats etc!.

Good luck!
