Question: How can I get a flat stomach without using weights machines in the Gym
I work far from home and only get to the Gym on a Sat and Sun, (mostly just Sat)!. I do 10 mins brisk walking on the treadmill, 10 mins on the cross trainer and up to 10 mins on the bike!. What else can I do to get a flat stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, you are in luck! Weights are not going to do much for getting a flat stomach!. The key is cardiovascular exercise, so just keep doing more of what you have been doing!. Running and rollerblading are also excellent for that:)

Abdominal workouts are good for gaining muscle in that area, but not the best for actually losing fat!. Remember cardio is what burns the most fat, no matter where it is on your bodyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sit ups and crunches as well as leg lifts!.

Lay in bed on your back!. Reach up and over and grab the bottom of the head board!. Now, with your legs fully extended, begin to raise your legs to a forty five degree angle and hold then slowly lower them!. Repeat and do three sets of thirty!. Then lay on the living room floor and slip your toes under the edge of the couch and do sit ups!. Do three sets of 25!. Then do crunches!. This is where you go through the actions of doing situps but you don't go all the way up!.

I had a girl I dated in the navy!. She did a hundred situps a day as part of her normal routine!.She would lay on me sometimes and I could put my hands on her stomach and lift her off of me and she would remain stiff as a board!. She had amazing abs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sit ups/crunches are the best way to a flat tummy! The more the better!.

And if you're unsure of how to use the weight machines, book in for a training session at your gym!. They should have shown you how to use the machines when you first started - its a legal requirement! Don't feel silly asking - every single person who uses a gym has to be shown how the machines work at one time or another!.

Doing crunches and situps will help you develop your abdominal muscles!. they will do nothing to help flatten your stomach!. adding more cardio and trying to eat "clean" is whats going to get rid of your midsection!. try eating more chicken (skinless), fish, salads and nuts; almonds, peanuts, walnuts, etc!. try calculating our calorie intake for a day!. decrease it by 500!. when doing cardio up to the first mile is really a warm up for your body, you start getting in to the calorie burning (weight loss) in around 2!.5 miles!. shoot for a goal of a month and see how things go then look at your results and tweek as needed!. what i try to tell everyone is dont really stress on the weight your gain or lose because you will gain a lil because working out you will add muscle, but look more so at what you look like when ur in front of the mirror and how your close fit!.

I think its a pity you haven't done sit-ups, because that's probably the most obvious excersize to get a flat stomach!. Oh, and drinking water and eating raw veggies [like salads] really helps as well!.

Maybe 10 sit-ups before breakfast, and 10 sit-ups before bed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sit ups!? (even though everyone says they're bad for your back!.!.)

Leg raises!.!. (lie on your back and keep your legs straight - lift them up and down!.!.!. like a backwards sit up sort of!.!.)

I don't know what you'd call this but it's sort of like push up position except you're leaning on your elbows!.!.!. keep your body as straight as possible and hold in that position for as long as possible!

Sit-ups, sit-ups and more sit-ups!. Your abs will actually increase in size so you also have to either do some cardio or diet in order to reduce the layer of fat!. It's not as hard as it sounds and it is worth it to do it right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The thing that works best is just doing a few situp/crunches when you wake up and right before bed! Do this daily and slowly increase how many you do and you'll be in shape in no time!Www@Answer-Health@Com
