How to loose weight ?!


Question:

How to loose weight ?

This is a odd situation , I think it might be genetics and my porky mother. I would like only serious answers please but,

I'm 15
and 5'3.
I weight around 150 pounds
my body fat percentage is 25%

but, I eat only three square meals a day.
Drink TONS of water a day.
A walk about 30 minutes and day

and I still am chunky. I don't know what to do to loose weight.

Actually that is a perfectly healthy body fat percentatge. To me it sounds like quite a bit of your weight is coming from a large bone structure or high muscle mass. You are a perfect example of someone that is incorrectly classed as overweight, but you are not even overfat! For a female your age, you could have up to around 28% body fat and still be considered healthy.

If you want to lose a little fat you can, but there is certainly no need to go overboard. Aiming for 22%-24% body fat would be ideal.

Be sure to eat plenty of protein so that you don't end up losing muscle mass instead of fat. Try power walking or even take up jogging. Swimming, cycling and dancing are all other great ways of keeping body fat low and muscle mass high.
