Working out while sick or not?!
Question: Working out while sick or not!?
I have a cough and a tiny bit of fever!. I feel like working out but also not working out lol!. I havent worked out for 5 days now, but im still sick!. What should i do!? Lift weights or just let myself recover then get back to my regular routine!?

I would let yourself recover!. I was sick and I still went to the gym!.!.!. I feel like going to the gym and suffering through my regular workout (50 mins cardio + weights) really extended my sickness!. I guess that I had the flu and it seemed to last a week longer than it should have (I didn't realize that I was really sick at the time, I thought that I just had allergies until I complained to friends who told me that I really had the flu)!. While I have heard that increasing your core body temperature with a little exercise is good to help get rid of an illness, I now think that it's better to rest and recover first!. Now that I think back to when I was sick, I really hope that my germs didn't make anyone else sick at the gym!.!.!. so there's that to consider as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
