Tight Muscles?

Over the past 4 or 5 years I have experienced back, shoulder, and leg pain. I have played in competitive sports for most of my life. Now my body is starting to feel the effects. I was wondering what I can do to relieve the pain that I am experiencing. I try to stretch all the time but that does not seem to be helping me much. I want to play sports in college but I am not sure if I will be able to if the pain and sore muscles continue to bother me! Please help.

I know your pain; I played hockey for 20 years. I recently joined a stretching class and it seems to be slowly easing the musclues. The tight muscles cause inflamation at the joints. Stretching is not a quick fix and you should consult a trainer for the proper way of performing the exercises. With time you will feel great. It's also good for weight loss, since it's different from things your body is use too.
