I need to gain weight (10 lbs)?!


Question:

I need to gain weight (10 lbs)?

i'm 15, 5'1, and weigh 85 lbs. the doctor said i'm way underweight and i should weigh a MINIMUM of 95 lbs at my age regardless of my height.
she said eating high protein foods will really help me gain weight.
so far the only MAJOR protein foods i know about are:
-meats (fish included)
-eggs
-peanut butter (maybe? please correct me if it's not a good source)
-i DON'T want protein shakes
any other foods have a lot of protein?
also, i eat cereal twice a day (a whole bowl filled to the top). will this slow down the process of me gaining weight or are carbs ok?

also, to gain weight fast should i eat a bunch of small meals or 3 big meals?

Answers:

Just eat normally, but eat high protein foods like your doctor says. And Peanut Butter is a big source of protein, also dark green veggies are a big source of protein also. maybe you also need to gain some muscle... try lifting weights or getting more active..... Im sry i cant think of anyhting else that's high in protein....well Good Luck!
