Can i give up sweets for good?!


Question: Can i give up sweets for good!?
when i was a little kid i didnt like soda but then as i got older i started to love it i would drink dr!. pepper all the time!!! i gave up soda for lint last year and when i was alowed to drink it again i found i didnt really like it any more!. do you think i can do this with sweets or will it always be a hard battle!? You might be able to cut back on it just through changing your eating habits, but a treat every now and then wont hurt too much (weekly or so)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are alternatives such as diet sodas, even Diet Dr!. Pepper!.

Yes, a lot of people will say, "Artificial sweetner is bad for you!" Well, guess what!? Our bodies are dying every minute, there are so many things around us that are harmful to our body, artificial sweetner should be at the bottom of your list to worry about!.

I drink Coke Zero!. I actually prefer the taste to regular Coke, and it doesn't have the 90-100 calories that regular Coke has!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to prevent cravings, there are two ways:

1!. the reason you crave in the first place, is because something is missing in your diet!. so do eat carbs, protein in moderation along with and vegetables!.

2!. My dietician swears by Glutamine powder for reducing cravings and also improving nutrient absorption!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well!.!.I drink carbonated drinks say once in 4-5 months!. I have grown up in saudi where people are always drinking pepsi!. I used to drink all that too!.

The only way you can stop it!.!.!.and the reason why I stopped it!.!.!.is to know how bad it is for your health!. But whenever u stop sumthing, you have to replace it with an alternative!. Fresh fruit drinks are a wonderful alternative!. Read about the benefits of fruits and the harmfulness of excessive sugars!. It makes you fat, weakens your immune system ( ie your body's ability to fight disease is lessened and u fall sick easily) etc etc!.

Fruits and drinks made out of fruits take your thirst away and leave you more healthier!. Strengthens the immune system, has positive affect on your skin, hair, overall looks!.!.lesser pimples!.!.!.better digestion system!. And best of all!.!.!.makes you feel active and gives u the energy in the right way!.!.not making you hyper!.!.!.but providing you with essential and helpful vitamins and minerals!.

But note!.!.!.!.once u start hating junk food/ carbonated drinks!.!.when u eat/drink them!.!.!.your brain will tell you after two three bites/sips that you are doin sumthin harmful to your body and so u will stop!. So have the hate for bad and the love for good and u will do and eat good and stay away from bad! But once in a while!.!.or say 1-2 sips or bites from your sibblings or brothers piece is preferable!.

And Lastly, I would quote what Muhammad (Peace be upon him, the messenger of GOD- that Muslims believe ( and know) said!. It is not exactly the words used but you will get the gist of it!. 'You shud only do as much good deeds as you can sustain, ie keep on doing!. For ALLAH (the one and only God) will not be tired of rewarding you but you will be tired of the doing the deed!.' (in other words!.!.moderation was his preaching)

This saying is helpful for you because!.!.!.!.u dun necessarily need to stay away from these junk foods/drinks completely!.!.or u might be tired of stayin away from them!!.!.a few bites won't matter!.and wud satisfy your tastebuds!. And divert your taste buds with sum other healthy thing or simply drink water when u get the urge of these harmful drinks!
