depends on what muscle and how many times you can do it!.!.!. if its so simple your just sitting there and doing a million reps, than no, it wont build a lot of muscle but increase the muscles endurance!.!.!.

but if you cant do it more than 10 times, and if you do multiple sets, you will see improvements and get stronger

yeah 17 kilo not bad depending on what your doing !? need more info ideally you should work a weight that makes you struggle on your last two reps with no more than 15 reps to biuld muscle if your toning up then take a weight you are somfortable with and focus on doing slow perfect reps around 30 times and dont forget cardio you need a strong heart to provide those muscles with blood

38 lbs!.!.that's not even the weight of an olympic sized bar!.
a great workout for "just 38 lbs" is kettlebells!.
look it up on youtube!.!.it can be a full body workout depending on the exercise!.

if you want to buy, they usually go for $2/lb

38 pounds could definitely build muscle, but it really depends on what muscles you're working and how strong you are to begin with!. If 38 pounds is easy for you to lift then it may not build muscle, but doing a high number of reps can tone the muscles you have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on how muscular you already are!. if you can lift up 38 pounds and it isn't at all difficult for you and you can lift it easily, then it probably wouldn't help!.!.!. try increasing the weight if its to easy to lift!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's a challenge for you, if it hurts you after you do I don't know 10, 20 or more it means that you have done some excercise and your muscles are being developed so you aren't wasting your time, you would increase your muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
