Why is it unhealthy to eat late at night!?

I'm a bodybuilder, and I know that most of my muscle repair (read: muscle growth) happens when I rest, especially at night!. But I can't repair without calories!. I always eat after 9:30pm!. (Note: I stay up until midnight!.)

Most times of the year I eat right before going to bed, usually aiming for some slow digesting protein (like cottage cheese, or Muscle Milk)!.
EDIT: I should mention I don't eat a full meal right before bed!. Usually a high protein snack that's less than 250 calories!.

If you're trying to lose weight, I suggest you stay away from a peach that late because at that point in the day, you don't need sugar!.(Exception: Right after a workout, if you happen to workout late!.)

There is mixed answers on this myth!. Health books I've read say don't eat after 830, others say 10 or 7!. Then Seventeen released a study that said you can eat whenever you want, even late at night, and it won't make a difference!. They say a calorie is a calorie no matter when you get it!.

A peach is very healthy, and I don't think anything will be lost by eating it at 930!. You'll have to go with your own call, babe!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on when you r going to sleep!. If in 4 hrs, never mind, but if in an hour or two, don't eat anything!. Just drink!. The best variant is pure water, only by small gulps!. Your stomach should have a rest!. Fruits help you to put on weight too!. It's because of carbs and sugar!. Mind it!.
