Need to cut my 2 mile down by 1 min!


Question: Need to cut my 2 mile down by 1 min
on tuesday is soccer tryouts and we have to run 2 miles in 16 minutes or less!. i can run 2 miles in 17 minutes!.
how can i run faster in just 6 days!?
also ive been doing a lot of sprints and running to get ready!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try running 2!.5miles to increase your cardiovascular endurance, do this for 3/4 days then go back to just 2miles you should be able to run it faster due to your cardiovascular rate being increased!. Hope this helps also if you can try in the last minute to run faster!. Though bear in mind the effects may not be that great due to the few dasy you have to prepare!. Also 3/4 days before the try outs eat lots of pasta etc this will build up energy stores enabling you to run faster for longer and not get tired as fast, this is called carboloading!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
