Question: I need help! am i fat!? please tell the truth
i dont know if fat is the right word for it but i am a thirteen year old girl and im 130 pounds!.!.!.my stomach is a little bit bigger, and i always see pictures of friends and people on aim and i feel bad about myself!. i actually tried throwing up after dinner tonight!. i know it sounds stupid, but i cry about myself every night because i dont have good hair a good face and i use to have a good body but i lost it!. im not one of those people who totally go overboard about looking perfect, i just want to feel a little bit beter about myself,if i am a little over how much i should be, just tell me dont feel bad or anything i need to know, and if i am i need help, how can i loose some pounds while still being able to eat!. thankyou?? p!.s!. my spelling isn't that great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh Goodness!. Honey, you're 130 pounds, not 230 pounds!. Don't get caught up in that whole thinner is better malarky!. It won't make you feel better about yourself, boys won't like you more, and you won't become more popular!. The other thing is you're only thirteen and your body is going to change quite a bit from now until your early twenties!. Trust me, I was a 13 year old girl once and things change dramatically!. You'll see!. Some of your skinny friends will get curvier and some of your solid friends will shrink a bit!. So this body that your obsessing over right now, you probably won't even remember years from now!. If it helps, the general rule of thumb for height and weight for women is to start at 100 pounds and add 5 pounds for every inch over 5 feet!. Then you add or subtract 10 pounds and end up in a healthy range!. For instance, if you are 5'4" you'd end up at 120 give and take 10 pounds gives you 110-130!. If you have a muscular build or are very athletic, you may even come out a bit higher!. You aren't fat!. Eat well, and look forward to the future!. Thirteen is a hard age to be!. Your 13, 130 isnt very bad!. Its a few extra pounds but I would not say fat and certainly not obese!. Id recommend to change your diet and eat healthy!. Study up onfoods and understand what will help you accomplish the body you want!. Also get a bit active and burn a few extra pounds and build self confidence!. let that be your determination when you work out! learn some simple excersizes that you can do every day when you're at home, and only eat when you're actualy hungry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh please, you aren't fat at all!. Every girl is beautiful in her own way, so every time you look in the mirror, smile at yourself and tell yourself you look hot! ;)

I'm a little bit older than you, (a year and a half-ish!?) and when I was in middle school I felt the exact same way!. Self-confidence is hard to have sometimes when you're feeling down about your body or your face, but just remind yourself it's better to be you than some of those models you see!.

& please don't make yourself sick!. When I was 13, my parents use to think I had anorexia nervosa (and I probably was borderline-eating disorder) but then I taught myself to eat right!. As in: whole grains, lots of fruit and vegetables, and eating to speed up my metabolism!. I found much better results the latter way than starving myself!. And take a walk after dinner; women tend to be thinner than men because after dinner they get up and do the dishes while the men flop down on the couch and watch TV!.

ok try not to focus on your weight so much or else it will lower your self esteem

try looking on brighter sides and DO NOT go on a eating disorder! many girls and boys die from the horrible disease so i suggest you not to go down that same path

personally, i think you are a LITTLE overweight, BUT muscle weighs more than fat! (that can be the bright side lol)

try excersizing every day and make yourself do pushups and crunches every day too

if you are still concerned about your weight, go on a diet, and force yourself to not eat junky foods and eating fruits that you like (like peaches and watermelon= perfect for a summer day!)

Well I think it's totally about self-control:

Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt

Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)

Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet bar

Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios

Some other tips:
DON'T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT'S AMAZING

I recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)

Another thing is to drink green tea twice a day, it burns fat and it's good for your health

And of course, do at least 50 abs per day
