Do i HAVE to use interval training in order to lose weight?!


Question: Do i HAVE to use interval training in order to lose weight!?
I just tried out interval training today and I!.!.!.pretty much nearly collapsed!. My body just can't handle it!.

I heard from people that running every day for 50 minutes at a constant pace(which i've been doing) doesn't make you lose weight(and I haven't yet)!.

Is this true!? Because regular cardio is the only exercise i can do!. Am i doomed to be fat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you don't have to use HIIT to lose weight, it is just a much more effective way to do your cardio!. Anytime you do an exercise to get your heart rate elevated is going to help as you will be burning more calories!. Youever told you that this does work is dead wrong!. If you don't think that you are losing weight (fat) from this, you need to analyze your diet!. Your diet is going to be critical, especially during a fat loss program!. You can do all the cardio and resistance trainin in the world, but if your diet is not in order, it will not show any rewards!.

For your diet!.!.!.
-- Make sure that you are eating 4-6 small meals/ snacks per day!.
-- Proteins and complexand/or natural carbs with each meal!.
-- Throw in fiberous vegetables twice per day!.
-- Taper your carbs such that your last meal has fiberous carbs only!.
-- Keep your water intake up, aim for 3/4 gal per day!.

From your description it sounds like you went out way to hard!. HIIT is based on your perceived exertion level!. If you want to try it again here are two different HIIT cardio workouts you can try!. Remember that you must base this on your own perceived exertion level!. If you try to copy someone elses workout, it will very rarely ever work verbatim!.

Ty to do your cardio in the morning on an empty stomach as your glycogen stores will be depleted and therefore your body will be forced to pull directly from your fat stores for energy!. Wait for 45-60 minutes before eating breakfast!.

You need to Rate your perceived exertion levels from 5-10 with 5 being moderate and 10 being everything you have!.

Workout #1:
On a track, use a level of 8-9 on the straights and 5-6 on the curves!. Start out at 15-20 minutes and work your way up to 30 minutes!.
