Question: Getting abs made me lose weight!?
Well it's been exactly 2 months since I started eating healthy and doing my daily abs routine!. I guess I'm really close to a 6 pack and I'm pretty happy about it!. But this has also made me lose weight!.!.!. something like 10 pounds!. I was slim before but now I'm skinnier!. And I don't like it!. I would like to regain those pounds but still maintaining my abs!. I also play tennis 4 times a week!. Do I gotta eat more!? Stop tennis!? What do I gotta eat!?

Tennis is definitely a great form of working out!. It works many of your muscles, from your legs, to your core, to your arms, etc!. Although muscle is said to weigh more than fat, (because of the cell density), it is completely possible to lose weight if you are gaining muscle!. All of the exercise and energy you are exerting in the activity you are participating in to get fab abs, and playing tennis like you do, burns calories!.

What I recommend is to just make sure you are at a healthy BMI, (Body Mass Index)!. For females, around 25 is average!. Sometimes it is not always accurate though because as the theory goes: muscle weighs more than fat!.

As for gaining weight while obtaining ab muscles, try eating foods that are high in fibre, protein, and antioxidants!. Almonds, eggs, apples, and soy are all excellent sources of these essential nutrients, which will help in getting you better, stronger abs!. As a former high school footbal player who is also skinny I suggest lifting weights and eating more protein and carbs but with a side of vegetables!. Also you could drink more water and less carbonated drinks such as sodas!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
