Question: Is 5'5 1/2 and 145 lbs a little chunky or fat!? If so how much should I weigh!?
I'm 16 years old and I'm 5'5 1/2 and weigh 145 pounds!. What weight should I be at for my age and height!? Is my current weight ok, or am I pushing being overweight!? I'm not very muscular by the way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you actually sound like your a good size!.!.!.

here is the standard for insurance companies for men!

5ft=110lbs + each additional inches=6lbs

so if that is the standard you should weigh 143lbs
That is not bad especially since most people find the insurance companies standards to be about 10lbs lower than normal! your the perfect weight!.!.!.

However if you feel you could stand to tone up a little!.!.!.focus on building muscles!.!.!.strength train and eat a little more protein and veggies and a few less carbs! Don't try to lose lbs! in fact when you tone up and lose fat you may actually start gaining weight due to muscle mass!.!.!.thats a good thing!
