So, they said that i eat about 2,500 calories a day, so if i eat 1,500 a day how would that make me loose weight,cause woudnlt my body try to store more fat cause it thinks it might get less food!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you find that dropping from 2500 to 1500 calories is extremely difficult, remember, you've got to get used to a new lifestyle, so try dropping gradually!. I'd say this week, just go down to 2200 so you get an idea of what it's like to start eating less!. The week after that go down to 1900!. Then after that, go down to 1500-1600!.

This will help you lose weight because your body stores the excess calories as fat!. At 1500-1600 calories, you might think you are not getting enough food, but this is just a mental hunger pain!. In reality, this is plenty of calories needed for your body!. Weight will be lost because there will be no extra calories that are stored as fat, and then those that have been stored as fat can be burned as you work out!.

P!.S!. - The comment about 300 is annorexia!.
I mean a bowl of oatmeal can be around 300 calories, and is one of the most healthy things for you!. You can not just survive on 300 calories a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first answerer has an eating disorder!. 2000 calories is the "norm" for women, whereas 2500 is for men!. If you cut back 500 calories a day, you would lose a pound in 6 days (3000 calories is one pound)!. If you cut back 500 cals a day plus exercised, you could probably lose a pound in half that time, depending on how much you exercise!.
I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but healthy weight loss is 1-3 pounds a week!. It will go by slow depending on how much you are trying to lose, but it's the healthiest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The answer about eating 300 calories a day is so bogus it blows my mind!

You need to stop trying to diet and just try to be healthy!. You need to eat alot of fruit and limit the fat and the sugar and drink alot of water!. There is no race in weight loss!. It is better to lose the weight slowly and that way it will not just come back!.

Stop counting the calories!. You say you should only eat 1200 calories a day!. Let me show you how absurd the concept of counting calories can be!. If you wanted to limit it to 1200 calories, what would be better!? Would it be better to eat 15 apples a day or a gallon of ice cream!? See how absurd the question really is!?

What you need to do is stop trying to put your weight loss into a box and call it a diet!. You need to stop trying to diet and start to live!.

Eat what you want, but watch what you eat!. Have a piece of candy and not the whole box!. Eat more fruit and cut out the soda!. Eat better, eater smaller portions more often and start moving your body for 30 minutes everyday!.

What you put in your mouth is your choice!. Do you choose to be healthy!? Do you choose to go on a diet, that will eventaully fail!? Or do you choose to just do healthy things which result in your actual sustained weight loss!?

you should NEVER eat 2500 calories a day! Thats crazy!. I eat 300-40 at the most and im fat!. Im 5'7(female) and 95-100lbs!. So you should eat around 300 calories to lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
