What are the best ab exercises?!


Question: What are the best ab exercises!?
what are the best ab workouts so that i can lose 2 or 3 inches off my waist!. and also 2-3 inches off my inner thighs!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

For abs:

-do crunches not situps and do them kinda slow
-do a half crunch and twist to one side(works obliques)
-lay on back with hands at side and chin to chest and raise your legs simultaneously
-lay the same way and lift your hips off the ground, legs pointing at ceiling
-jacknife; hands a little behind your butt and bring your legs and your torso up, knees meeting your chest at the middle
-lay on back with legs bent and arms at side, then let each arm reach for the opposite ankle so you are kinda slithering back and forth
-lay on your side with the arm on the ground straight out and the other behind your head and lift your torso and your leg up, feel the squeeze
-lay on back with elbows supporting you and lift your feet a few inches of the ground and hold then bring them out to shoulder width and hold then bring them back in and rest
-curl up into a ball with arms around knees and let your abs pull you up, do not use a rocking motion, pull yourself up w/ your abs

Eat well, because you could unknowingly have great abs under a layer of fat!.

Doing ab work will get you to lose weight in the stomach area!. The fat that you currently have is used and transformed into muscle!. So muscle is left in its place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay - what you refer to as "ab exercises" are resistance exercises targeting your abdominal muscle group!. These will tone, strengthen and improve the function and endurance of the muscle, but not make the area smaller!. Same for the thighs!.

The only safe way to lose size from these areas is to burn the fat stored there!. Everybody stores body fat differently - women tend to store it on the hips and thighs, men around the love handles and gut, for example!. Unfortunately, when fat reserves are used as fuel (e!.g!. during exercise), the stores around the body contribute at an even rate - so your fattest bits will always be fatter than your thinnest bits (although you can make even your fattest bits not that fat)!.

You need to exercise at a rate that encourages your body to burn fat as a fuel!. If you are new to exercise the much famed "fat burning zone" is useful - particularly if you are not at all fit!. However, this soon becomes a rut that people get stuck in, thinking they're exercising well, but in fact not doing enough to really make a difference!. You need to do some high intensity cardio at least 3 times a week to burn off fat stores!. That's around 85% of your maximum heart rate!.

For toning exercises, you need to hit your muscles from different angles!. Crunches isolate the muscle rectus abdominis, but there are several muscles in the area that need to be exercised!. Try mixing it up, using swiss balls for crunches, doing some oblique crunch work, twisting, plank holds and reverse crunches (not straight leg raises) to target the lower abs!.

You see, the human body is designed to conserve energy and will adapt quickly to exercise!. If you keep changing your routine and making it hard work, your body cannot go into energy saving mode once it gets used to a workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you want lose inches off your wiast and thighs, im afraid ab exercises are not the way to go!. You should be concentrating on a healthy diet to lose body fat and doing cardio (HIIT) atleast 3 - 4 times a week!.
