Question: How can i lose weight about 5pounds a week!.
Im 13 and i feel i am over weight a weight around 140 and i want to be around 120!. Any ideas!? plz!.!. I really need your help

1!. Drink water
- Green tea is also a good idea as it speeds up your
metabolism
- every day drink one tall glass of water about 5 minutes before you eat!.

2!. Eat regularly
- 5 times a day in small amounts proper meals
- don't miss meals its important for your body to know its got alot of food to digest and lose
- If you dont eat regularly the fat will build up cause your body thinks "oh the host isn't give me enough food to burn off, i'll just slow down abit"

3!. Eat lots of fibre
4!. Consume more good fats
6!. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight
- good carbohydrates but not too many
-These include whole grains, vegetables; fruits and beans!.

7!. Excercise regularly, everday

Just control your eating and eat healthier!. Exercise daily at least 30 minutes and it doesn't have to be strenuous exercises, just walking, jogging, riding your bike, swimming, etc!. Drink lots of water at least 8 - 8oz!. glasses per day!. Stay away from sweets, fried foods, fast food!. If you do this you will lose weight!.

hey!. i'm 15 and weigh around 150!. so i know exactly how you feel!. i found a diet that has helped me lose around 1-2 pounds per day! yeah, per DAY! and the best thing about this diet!? it didnt cost ANYTHING! well here it is:

upon waking:
8 oz Metamucil (take about 1 teaspoon of the powder and mix it with a normal glass full of water!. i like the pink lemonade flavor, but it also comes in orange and berry flavored!.)

breakfast:
at least 8oz of water (can be plain bottled water or sparkling water, but nothing with sugar in it!!!)
3 Stalks of Celery
2 Tbsp of NATURAL peanut butter (i use smuckers!. it looks a little weird in the jar, but that's just because the oil seperates!. stir it up a little and it'll be good!.)

lunch:
salad:
1 C Romaine or Mixed Baby Greens (if you can, try to get organic, but normal is perfectly fine)
? C Slice Onion (i like purple onion)
1 Stalk Celery
? C Alfalfa Sprouts
1 Slice Tofutti Mozzerella (i know it sounds gross, but i have to eat dairy-free cheese because i'm lactose intolerant!. you could use real cheese i guess, but make sure its low fat or fat free!.)
dressing:
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 ? tsp Flax Seed Meal (its tasteless, and provides much needed protein and fiber)
Salt + Pepper

dinner:
salad:
1 C Sliced Cabbage (i just use the coleslaw mix stuff that comes in a bag)
7 Almonds (i use chopped almonds, but whole are fine!. make sure they're raw almonds though)
dressing:
1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Celery Seed (this gives it a little coleslaw-ish taste)
Salt + Pepper

after dinner:
8 oz Metamucil
1 or 2 pieces of SUGAR FREE candy!. (personally, i'm a fan of the sugar free jolly ranchers)


snacks: if you need a snack between meals, snack on seeds (such as sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds, also knowns as pepitas) or nuts (i like the Planter's Mixed Nuts!. they have almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, cashews and pistachios in them) or veggies (but no carrots)!.

drinks: water water water water water!!! any kind of sugar-free drink (like Crystal Light) is okay!. diet soda--drink sparingly!. it does other bad things to your body!.

foods to avoid at ALL COSTS: fruit, carrots, potatoes, bread, pasta, cereal, etc!. NO CARBS AT ALL until you've lost the weight that you want to!.


now for exercise!.!.!.i usually go on the elliptical for 15-30 minutes every morning!. followed by a 10 minutes walk (about a 4 mph pace) on the treadmill!. i also include some weight lifting and some crunches!. but if you dont have access to that kind of equipment:
*take a walk/run/bike ride around your neighborhood
*do at least 100 crunches per day!. but spread them out!. get up and do, say, 25 in the morning!. then 50 in the afternoon!. then 25 before you go to bed!.
*if you HAVE to watch tv, do what i do!. during the commercials, get off the couch and do some crunches or push ups or something
*stretch every morning and every night!. not only will this improve flexibility, but it will also help tone your muscles!. and toned muscles burn more fat!. also, stretch before you go to the gym (if you do) to help prevent injury!.



other stuff: if you get bored with having salad for 2 meals in a row, search google for some south beach diet meals!. try to find some that are meatless!.!.!.i'll give you a few below!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
