actually i wondered that!.!. as on hollyoaks when hannah had anorexia, she got spotty, a super skinny girl at college who doesn't eat much, is really spotty!.
I think it could be hormones, as when people eat healthy and lose weight steadily, their skin glows!. So it could be that starving does muck up your hormones (they stop their periods) And i get spots around my period when my hormones go crazy and i get pms
