Question:
Big pecs with push ups?
I was thinking of doing push ups everyday but everyone on the web seems to scared of overtraining.
A friend of mine started working out in his back yard everday six sets of 60 reps push ups and he gained a lot.
I am confused.And I don't feel i can get those pecs three times a week.If anyone has suggestions i'll be pleased.

Well, here's an honest answer. Muscle mass is built by ripping the muscle and letting it heal. It's the down time that actually builds the muscle. That's why you only want to work out every other day. Actually the best method is working out 3 times a week, resting the other 3 days a week and doing light stretching the 7th day of the week. For really large pecs, you need to do pull-ups and push-ups. Also, butterfly presses. Hope this helps.
