Question: Gaining MUSCLE (high metabolism)
im a pretty small guy, and i really want to gain muscle!. the only problem is i have a high metabolism!. i take protein shakes before and after workouts (monday, wednesday, friday), and peanut butter before bed!.

Listen You need to EAT EAT EAT! Have 3-5 meals a day!. 1 1/2 grams of protein per body weight you have!. This will make it to gain weight!. Eat Good High calorie Foods!.

I wouldn't do peanut butter before bed, I would do 1/2 cup to 1 cup of cottage cheese with a 1/4 cup peanuts!. That is a great high protein snack to gain weight!.

Also your working out days needs to be changed to 4-5 times a week!. Break down your workouts so you can focus on a muscle longer for a day!.

Every workout you do make sure that you do your warm up first 10-15 reps!. Then to gain mass You need to push yourself so that your doing weight that you can only do around 4-6 reps!. This will stress your muscles tremendously!. You will receive maximum growth!.

Protein shakes are good if you can't eat 5 meals a day!. Make sure you get WHEY protein!. That has less sugar!. Perfect for gaining weight!.
