Can you lose weight by swimming?!

Can you lose weight by swimming?

I mean can you slim down on your love handles...and is it possible for your legs to look smaller by doing this...any other tips on how to slim down your legs?


Answers:

Sort of. When you swim you lose a lot of fat, if you do it regularly. But you also gain muscle, which is denser than fat. It's almost llike bike riding. You also get improved cardiovascular endurance. A side affect of swimming regularly is eating a lot. But don't worry. If you keep swimming regularly (not just a couple minutes of free-hand stroke), the fat from the food will not come back. Also make sure you don't eat a lot of foods high in animal fat or calories, because fat can build up (and not be seen-from the outside) by your organs, or any other vital part of your body.
