When working out do i go slow and hold it or go quick and bang them out??!


Question: When working out do i go slow and hold it or go quick and bang them out!?!?
like when i do lat pull downs should i go slowly and feel the burn or go quicker maybe do the first two sets faster and the last slow!?!? i wanna build muscle how should i do it for best results!.!.actually with all workouts like bench press push ups pull ups dumbell curls tricept extensions etc etc!.!.!? should i do the reps fast slow and hold it!.!.hold just the last one for an extra 5 secs how should i do it!?

With constant tension exercises like lat pulls or tricep extensions youll want to go slow and really concentrate on keeping your form perfect and really feeling the muscle move!.


Dont go fast with curls, you will pop tendons!.

For bench and heavy compounds youll want to do faster reps, but they MUST be fully under control!.

If your slinging it around, and bouncing it off your chest its useless!.
