Question: Should I lift dumbbells, im a girl !?
I'm a 14 year old girl and i found some dumbbells, if i lit them will i look unfeminine/muscular :[

I want to lose weight in my thighs and abs, what should i do with them so i lose my tummy and thighs ;PWww@Answer-Health@Com

The trick with weights to avoid bulking up is to stick with 15-20 reps for each set!. That will tone, but it won't cause hypertrophy (muscle growth)!. Unfortunately, it's not possible to lose weight in a specific area- anything you burn comes from all over the body, though you'll usually notice the difference around the abs and thighs first!.

A few exercises to try: squats, jump squats and lunges (for the thighs and glutes), jackknives (a leg raise and a crunch at the same time), side bridges, and the bicycle (the last three for the abs)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's fine to lift free weights(dumbbells)!.!.i'm a female and i use free weights and i bench press!. i think the only way you would look unfeminine is if you took steroids or something!. you could squat with them to work thighs and for abs sit-ups, crunches there are other things as well just look online!.!.and you have to eat right or else exercising is pretty much a waste of time!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
