Want to lose weight but live at home with parents who cook my meals so controlling my diet is an issue?!?

I'm currently home for summer from university and I want to start losing weight, however my parents cook my meals most of the time and my brother is only 14 and is a fussy eater so controlling my diet is a bit of an issue, any ideas? Also does anyone have an ideas as to how I can motivate myself to exercise more. I'd like to start running but I don't want people around my village to see me! I'm an awkward customer I know! Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Same here. I don't want people to see me run. My parents always force food on me. I don't have the guts to tell them that I want to lose weight. I suggest that you just tell them that you want to lose weight. Everyday I jog around my house or in place for at least fifteen minutes. I also do sit-ups, push-ups, and crunches.
