I'm 12 and i weigh 140 lbs. i sometimes get depressed over my weight please !


Question: I'm 12 and i weigh 140 lbs!. i sometimes get depressed over my weight please help me!!!
So as you heard in the title i want to loose A LOT of weight!. my goal is about 120 lbs!. i know it will be hard but i'm about to join my school basketball team and i already have 5 lb!. weights (i don't go higher unless i want too and i do good workouts sometimes with the weights but the resolts arent that great!.!.im gaining more than im loosing because all i did this summer was eat drink sleep go to store and thats pretty much it and i have this machine that i run on by peddling my feet can some1 tell me how many times a day i should workout and how to eat healthier im really depressed about it now because every1 else in school is skinny in my grade except for like 20 kids & i don't look fat but i am kinda chunky lol please helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Depression alone can cause weight gain!. My grandson is your age and he weighs 150 lbs!. He is also 5'6"!. How tall are you!. You know, if you just stop drinking soft drinks alone, you can loose weight!. We have a friend that stop drinking soft drinks and lost 35 lbs in 3 three months!. There is so much sugar in those drinks, so that is a good start!. Exercise on your treadmill at least once a day!. Start off slow, and build it up as your legs get stronger!. Get out an play basketball with your friends, instead of staying in the house!. You are not fat, by any stretch of the word!. You need to have more confidence in yourself and keep telling yourself you can do it!. It takes a lot of will power, but if you really want this, you will do it on shear determination!. One thing you should know!. With exercise, you will not immediately lose weight, but you will lose fat!. The reason behind this is that muscle actually weighs more than fat!. Once you get your core metabolism up!.!.!. because muscle takes more energy to run than fat!.!.!. you'll start losing weight!. Just keep it up and eventually you'll lose the weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is what i did and lost 20 pounds in 2 months you see stop eating meat lot maybe once a week not alot eat vegtable alot and do a houndred pull up ok try your best ok then u my loose more then u want ok just do that and u will succsed okWww@Answer-Health@Com

This really depends on how tall you are!. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat so while you may lose fat your muscle will bulk up!. You might weigh the same!.

My friend has been working out for 2 months she has not lost a pound but her fat is beginning to go away!. Clothes fit her that didn't fit before!.

Also, you're 12, and you're not done growing!. You could grow a few inches and slim down!.
