If you are trying to lose weight you want to consume around 1200-1500 calories a day!. But don't go under that since you work out a lot!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

1200 is pushing it!. Less than 1500 calories per day can, and usually does result in nutrient deficiency and will make it very difficult to loose weight!. The reason it becomes difficult to loose weight consuming this few calories is that your body begins to store these calories for use when you really truly need them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i eat under 500 calories a day, its not healthy!.!.!.!.but i lost a stone and a half in a month!.!.!.!.i work out a lot too!.!.!.!.i works, just think of everything as calories you have to burn off, and the effort it takes to burn that thing off, when you can just not have it in the first place!. sure you feel lightheaded but you get over it!. im 16 too, working 5 days a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was told on this excercise blog that it was dangerous to intake less than 1600 a day!.!.but idk!.

But your also working out!. so It isnt such a good idea!.

Just drink 6 glasses of water a day and reduce your calorie intake by 500 from what I was told

takes 3500 calories to lose 1 poundWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, you're 15 and still growing so just make sure you get a good variety of different foods and eat smaller portions than usual!. Include vegetables, fruit, whole wheat bread, eggs, meat or chicken, or fish, etc!. Drink lots of water too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1200-1500/ day is reasonable if maintained for a relatively short period of time!.
