What specific stretches can help a person gain a possible inch/two? i know there are some out there?

i just wana know, im still trying to grow and i want the best height possible, thankyou for ur time

hello dear,if u r still growing then stretching can help u,but growth is a complex process and is triggered by the amount of growth hormone released in the body so why don`t u consider doing exercises which serve this purpose then stretching will be more effective.
i`m personally trying for growth in height but i`m already 24 and it`s quite difficult at this age to grow as the growth plates r closed.so if u r in ur teens then u have fair possibility of growing because of the open growth plates.u should take right kind of diet with high calcium,protein content like milk,yogurt.here i would like to lay more stress on milk as it contains IGF-1 which is a growth promoter,instances of milk stimulating growth has been seen in some African tribes which rear cows and take large quantities of milk daily,also it is supposed that the Dutch who are the tallest people in the world have higher intake of milk than any other nation,based on this study japan has introduced milk as an important diet for children and experienced an increase in the growth in height of the generation by about 4 inches in about four decades.there are some amino acid pills like arginine and lysine combined together and are proved to promote bone growth but these are not suggested due to lack of proper study on their effects.u can also go for exercises like inverted sit ups with weights done using inversion boots,these are good for stretching spine and if done consistently for a long time they give good results,then one exercise involves jogging with 7kg ankle weights in each leg for 30mins-an hour and then hanging the legs with more weights of about 15kg in each leg and then going to beg immediately without standing up for even once.this method is based on microfractures caused in the legs while jogging with ankle weights and stretching them by using heavy weights and then healing them overnight to get a slight increase in the bone length,the increase depends upon the correctness of the procedure,some have achived 1/4 inch gain in one month by this method and this gain in height is permanent unlike the one gained through stretching.but these methods are not so popular because they are still being experimented and don`t have any medical proof of being free from any complication.

sleep is a big contributor in growth so 8-10 hours sleep is a must for growth seekers and it has been proved by means of study on lambs which grow most when they are asleep.if u r strictly going for stretching exercises then u must do yoga,asanas in yoga stretch the body nicely while at the same time maintaining controlled breathing which combines to give good results.i have seen and read about many stretches but they are not as effective as yoga due to the lack of the controlled breathing step.and one more thing that the stretches or any kind of height increase exercises are seen to be most effective when done in an active body like one who plays football,jump rope,jogging,running or any game which works out the whole body and causes release of growth hormone in the veins rather than an idle body with no physical activity.
