Question: I think I RUINED my diet!!! HELP!!?! :(
Well Just to let you know :
- Im 5'5
- Im going to 7th grade
- Im turning 13 soon
- I weigh 142!.8 lbs

Anyways!.!. I went to Olive Garden today, & I ate: salad, 1/2 a breadstick, and like 5 small bites Fenectunni (or however you spell it, its Pasta) & thats all! Then I ate one choco!. chip cookie that was about the size of my palm & I had about a little more than 1/2 of a Stawberry Smoothie with a little whip cream!
Here are my questions:
- ABOUT how much calories did I eat today!?
- Should I be freaking out about what I ate!?
- Tommorow Im going to Sears, do you think that I gained too much weight, that now I can't fit into anything!?

you're just fine! You should just be better the next day!. My only comment is that you seem really conscious about how much you weigh and at your age, although you should be aware of what you eat, I don't think what you're doing is good!. Actually your BMI is really really good - like perfect so seriously you don't have to lose any weight!. Plus you should be enjoying the food and not feeling guilty that you ate something!. I remember when i used to diet, id have a day where id go a little over and might have a chocolate bar, then i would start to use the excuse

"well since i already ruined my diet with a chocolate bar, i might as well go eat a cake"

lol!.

okay you said you started eating healthy and today you went off of it, thats okay its not the end of the world, dont get discouraged, that will only ruin your outlook!. hold your head up and tommorrow is a ned day just start over again!. you need to eat small portions!. like very small!. and dont eat cookies and smoothies and such!.!.!.
you didnt ruin your diet!. your fine!.
just drink lots and lots of water!.
no caffeine, soda, juice, flavored water, etc!.!.!. and you'll be good :]
water cleanses your system and is ofcourse a lot healthier!.
and exercise!. that WILL help!. :]] sit ups, jogging, back bends, and a little bit of push ups!.
you'll do great with this if you try!. and it doesnt hurt to try!.

This is very normal!. You are quite young and unfortunately starting to worry about your weight very early!. You will see throughout your life that you will likely have many days like this!. No one can eat perfectly every single day, so start accepting your off-days now, and you will have a happier life!

Weight fluctuates day-to-day as well (this is normal)!. You probably won't gain any weight, but if you do, it will be hardly noticeable and not enough to prevent you from fitting into clothes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, don't freak out!. You haven't ruined your diet!. Okay, so you took a side trip one day, one meal!. Big Deal!.!.!. NOT !! You didn't go bazzerk from what you say above!. In fact, you limited what you ate and kept the portions small!. Bravo! I applaud you!

Now, the thing to do is get right back on your right eating plan and don't forget to get plenty of exercise and drink gobbs of water!. I mean, like drink about 64 ounces every day and get at the very least 30 minutes of some sort of excercise every day possible!.

The first thing you need to do is make sure you have a balanced diet!. Never ever starve yourself!. If at some point you eat something that you really shouldnt have, its ok!. Dont let that throw you off course!. You can eat the same foods you've always eaten!.!.the key is smaller portions!. Try not to eat after 7pm!.!.!.try to stay away from too much fat and sugars!. Exercise is soooo important!. Walking or bike riding is a good option if you dont like the whole arobic workout thing!. Don't freak out for being normal!. I find even when I am on a diet, it is good to go off it and eat something you really want once in a while!. It helps in 2 ways!. First eating a few more calories tricks you body into speeding up your metabolism again, which slows down when you are constantly dieting!. A faster metabolism burns more calories!. I usually lose more weight the next day or two after going off the diet!. Second, it helps you stick with the diet longer!. If you constantly deprive yourself from having everything you like, you will learn to hate your diet and end up going off of it and binging on everything you really wanted to eat!. Give yourself a break once in a while and enjoy eating something off your diet just because you enjoy it!. In the long run, it will help you lose the weight you want, and keep it off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
