If your question is sincere, then you know along with fasting is prayer!. You may find your answer in prayer!. My mother once told me when I have to ask "if!.!.!.!.", then I probably shouldn't!. In answer to the part of your question "will Jesus hate me!.!." of course the answer is no!. This also should be known to you if you are fasting and praying!. Fasting helps us find God's will!. If we expect God to reveal his direction for our lives, we must put Him first!.
