Will cardio exercise slow down muscle growth when doing strength training?!

Question: Will cardio exercise slow down muscle growth when doing strength training!?
Keeping in mind all the health benefits of cardio, if I want to build muscle how many times should I do cardio vs strength train in a week!?

I'm pretty thin but I also have a little belly fat I want to get rid of!. I'm feeling conflicted as to what to do because building muscle involves gaining mass and losing fat involves losing mass!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
stick to high intensity interval training for cardio, it's actually anabolic and can aid in muscle growth!. you only need to do HIIT 3x a week

long distance running is counter productive to muscle building as it has a negative effect on testosterone levels and increases cortisol levels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
