Hi Lucy! I started the Atkins diet last week and I have lost four pounds! I haven't even been working out like I usually do!. Basically, I do not ingest any carbs!. It is a very easy diet to maintain if you are a meat lover, which I am!. It is very simple! You can have any type of meat and any type of cheese and eggs!.!. you can eat things such as: chicken, beef, lamb, fish, cheese smothered chicken, cheeseburger [without the bun], steak, sandwich meat, omelets, philly cheesesteak [without the bun], etc!. I am loving this diet!. Yesterday, I had two boiled eggs for breakfast, a huge green pepper, ham, and cheese omelet for lunch, and a swordfish steak for dinner!. This can be a total and radical turn in your life, for better!. I began eating healthy 24 years ago!. I can assure you, during all those years, not even a single pill or any medicine needed, not even a single head ache!.I began gradually and after one year I was plenty doing it the right way!. The basis of my eating healthy are:
-no sugar or any sugary foods
-no fried foods
-no alcohol
-no read meat
-no soft drinks

-lots of vegetables
-lots of fruits as bananas, water melon, oranges, apples, grapes!.!.!.
-whole grains
-whole wheat bread
-skin milk, cheese and yogurt
-white meat as fish and chicken
-lots of water ( 2 l a day)
-green tea
-natural fruit juices (home made)
-raisins

well first of all eating healthy means you gotta target the good food groups!. There are different types of foods im sure you know of: meats, vegetable, fruit, dairy products, breads/pastas/rice, and fatty sweets!. There is also a group that are called negative calories!. In other words, negative calories are foods that require more calories to digest the food than the calories present in the food!. Lots of fruits and veggies are this way!. My recomendation is to eat 5-6 small meals a day!. Start with breakfast - eat some fruits and a small serving of the bread group!. Youll need the carbs to help you through the day!. Then have a midmorning snack!. Eat some more fruit or have a protein bar!. Then eat a small lunch!. Get some meat in your system!. Chicken, fish, etc!. STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOOD!. also get some vegetables in your system!. VEgetables boost metabolism!. Then your midafternoon snack!. protein shake or protein bar or you can eat another small dose of carbs!. Then for dinner get one more serving of meat and load up on the fruits an veggies!. typicallly you want to eat dinner sometime before 7!. try around 630 because anything you eat after that (depending on when you sleep) will get stored as fat!. If you feel hungry again after that then eat some fruit or veggies!.

A quick diet rule: Good fats are liquid at room temperature - oils are good fats - butter = bad fat!. Try to stear clear of fatty foods and when you go to a restaurant try to order the healthier foods on the menu or get a childs size meal

Excersize on top of that and you should be feeling better, looking better, and ready for the world!.

I'm not much of an expert but try starting off slowly!.!.stop eating so many carbs and eat more fruits and veggies and definitely stay away from the sugar or any desserts try and only get foods that say sugar or fat free!. Also try and exercise you can go to a gym or even do it at home!. If you go to a gym try and work up to it because you can really hurt yourself!. Maybe do like an hour one day and the next lke an hour and a half!.

being a woman you should eat fermentated foods such as yogurt,cottage cheese, pickles,etc this is for the friendly microorganism lactobaccili which helps in the digestive tract and helps maintain the ph balance in the vagina!. you also know that vegetables,fruits, dates,etc are very beneficial to your health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't listen to the people who say you should not eat fat at all!. That's terribly dangerous! There are millions of different answers to your question, some of which perfectly contradict each other, and no one really knows which is best!. I went on exactly the same quest many years ago and still haven't found the answer, so I advocate for intuitive eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

eat much fruit, use veggies alot in your meals!. Eat fish with plenty of omega 3 and avoid sandwiches and fast food!. eat popcorn instead of sugary candy etc!.

dont drink fizzy drinks
keep exercising
practising on a sport
insist on eating healthy
drink a plenty of water because it will make u fresh!.

keep fruit in stock and dont keep any fatty foods in the house that way you will have nothing to eat except for healthy fruit and foods!!!
