It is fine to exercise in humid weather, but you do need to use a little common sense because you are more at risk for heat stroke.
Monitor your heart rate. If it goes above your target heart range (220 - your age...x's .65...and again x's .85), slow down or stop.
Some experts recommend that you weigh yourself before you exercise and replenish the fluids according to the weight lost. In any event, drink plenty of fluids before, during, and after exercising.
You don't talk about the type of exercise. In general, most athletes don't need to worry about salt depletion from sweating, but marathoners and other extreme activities have the potential to sweating to the point of losing too much sodium. The symptoms include:
• Fatigue
• Light-headedness
• Weakness
• Cramping
• Weight gain
• Nausea
• Bloating and/or swelling
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Confusion
• Fainting
• Disorientation
• Seizures or coma (in severe cases)
